These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of the Emberknit online store and any purchase you make from it. By using this store or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the store.

1. Who we are

This store is operated under the name Emberknit ("we", "us", "our") and is hosted on Shopify. You can reach us at ruegersheehan7@gmail.com.

2. Using the store

You agree to provide accurate information when you place an order and to use the store only for lawful purposes. We may refuse or cancel any order, for example if a product is unavailable, a price or description is wrong, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you've paid for, we'll refund you in full.

3. Products and pricing

We try to describe and show our products as accurately as possible, but colors may look slightly different on your screen and measurements may vary by about 1–2 cm. Prices are in US dollars and may change at any time. The price you pay is the price shown at checkout. Sales tax is calculated at checkout where required.

4. Promotions

Discounts such as "buy 2 or more, save $5 per pair" are applied automatically in the cart, can't be exchanged for cash, and may be changed or ended at any time. They don't apply to orders already placed.

5. Payment

Payments are processed securely by Shopify and its payment partners. We don't store your full card details. By placing an order, you confirm you're authorized to use the payment method.

6. Shipping, returns and refunds

Shipping is covered by our Shipping Policy, and returns and refunds by our Refund Policy. Both are part of these Terms.

7. Product safety

Emberknit gloves are heated by USB power. Use only a standard USB power source (such as a laptop, power bank, wall adapter or car charger). Unplug the gloves and remove the cable before washing. Don't use them if the cable or heating parts are damaged. Stop using them if they feel too hot, and don't wear them while sleeping. Adults should supervise use by children.

8. Intellectual property

The text, design and graphics on this store belong to us or are used with permission. You may not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without our written consent.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to a product or this store is limited to the amount you paid for that product. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

10. Privacy

How we collect and use your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on this page when you place an order applies to that order.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Emberknit's owner is based.
